My main research interests are Development economics, Applied econometrics, Impact evaluation, Latin America.
I have held several positions at the Central Bank of Bolivia, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim.
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Göttingen.
What I believe
A world with less poverty and inequality as well as with more freedom for all people is desirable and possible.
We need more active research and more open deliberation to set and update priorities at the local, national and international levels.
